As with all universities in the UK, the University of St Andrews offers 3 main awards for individual achievement in sport, which for Table Tennis require the following criteria to be awarded:

 

A Full Blue shall be awarded to someone who has:

1. Placed in the top 3, or top 5%, whichever is harder, at the SSS Individual Championships and

2. Participated in 75% of all official University matches and regularly attended training

 

A Half Blue shall be awarded to someone who has:

1. a) Placed in the top 10, or top 10%, whichever is harder, at the SSS Individual

Championships or

b) Won a plate tournament and

2. Participated in 50% of all official University matches and regularly attended training

 

A Colours shall be awarded to someone who has:

1. Regularly attended weekly training and

2. Played in at least one game for the club and

3. Been considered for 1st team selection when positions become available.
